From Melbourne, take the Hume Highway north and exit at Benalla/Mansfield.
Follow the road into Benalla.
As we are a bit remote, it's a good idea to refuel in Benalla.
- Drive through Benalla and turn right at KFC onto Coster Street (C517).
- At the first roundabout, stay straight onto Kilfeera Road.
- Stay on Kilfeera Road for 25kms and turn right to Whitfield/Myrrhee onto the Benalla-Whitfield Road.
- This turn is VERY easy to miss, it's a slight right onto the Benalla-Whitfield Road.
- Stay on this for 17kms.
- Immediately after the Myrrhee Primary School, turn left into Bella Vista Road and follow the signs for elevation652 at Mt Bellevue, approximately 5kms.
Take the Hume Highway Southbound, exit at C314 (Bowser Road) into Wangaratta. This later becomes Parfitt Road then continues as Murphy Street. The Coles Express on your right, just before the bridge is a good place to get fuel if you need it.
- Continue over the Ovens River Bridge, go straight through the roundabout (2nd exit), then straight through the first set of traffic lights with Zambrero's on the left corner.
- At the next roundabout, continue straight then turn left onto Warby Street at the traffic lights.
- Warby Street becomes Murdoch Road & later Wangaratta-Whitfield Road. Stay on this for 27 kms to Moyhu.
- Continue through the township of Moyhu, making aright hand turn onto Boggy Creek Road opposite Moyhu Primary School.
- Stay on Boggy Creek Road for 18kms.
- Turn right into Bella Vista Road just before the Myrrhee Primary School and follow signs for elevation 652 at MtBellevue, approximately 5kms.
- Take care on this winding DIRT road, the first 2kms are all twists and turns and wildlife dart back and forth even in daylight hours.

You'll pass the Mt Bellevue gatehouse on your right, continue on up the hill with vineyards on your right and paddocks on the left.You'll soon be driving through vineyards on both sides of the road and will see the big aviation tower on your left. Continue on down the hill and next you'll notice the tennis court and a cluster of buildings on your left.
Drive past these buildings on your left (you'll see a big sign once you cross the cattle grid) and go straight on to the next rock walls either side of the road. Turn left here (it's also signposted for the Cattleman's) and continue approximately 200m and you'll see the house pictured above (middle picture). We leave the buildings unlocked but if you wish to lock it, you'll find the key in the entry laundry on a coat rack. PLEASE remember to leave the Cattleman's Unlocked on your departure and put the key back where you found it! Thank you!
Turn left at the big sign into the driveway on your left. Your accommodation is in the 2-storey stone building straight ahead. After unloading your luggage, please park your car in the designated Visitor Parking across the driveway, thank you.
