With ties to legendary explorer William Hovell and rumours of visits by Ned Kelly, the property at elevation652 holds many stories. The farm was founded by the Evans family in the mid-1800s and the current homestead was built by Sarah Brockoff and David Heathcote in 1982. In 2000 Winnie Jones began operating elevation652 as a premium Welsh Black cattle stud. After planting our first grape vines and building up the cattle business, Winnie sold the property to the Ross family in 2017. Ask one of our lovely staff for a more in-depth history lesson!
