The Lakehouse

Romance and Reflection Above the Water

The Lakehouse is an enchanting, two-storey retreat perfectly perched above the farm’s tranquil dam. This favourite for couples and those seeking quiet sanctuary blends old-world character with modern comfort. Upstairs, enjoy a storybook hideaway with a king-size bed and private balcony offering serene views over the water, orchard, and surrounding mountains. Downstairs features two well-appointed bedrooms and a spacious lounge for added relaxation. Fully air-conditioned and complete with a private BBQ, guests also enjoy complimentary access to the tennis court and walking track across the stunning High Country landscape.

Perched quietly above the farm’s dam, where ducks and trout glide through the rippling water, The Lakehouse is one of Elevation652 Farm’s most enchanting stays. Originally known as The Eyrie and Den, this charming two-storey retreat blends old-world character with thoughtful, beautifully appointed comfort, a favourite for honeymooners, anniversaries, and anyone seeking peace in the High Country air.

Upstairs, The Lakehouse feels like a storybook hideaway, a cozy, sun-filled space with a king-size bed, comfortable lounge suite, and dining area perfectly placed to take in the serene views. A compact sink and fridge make it easy to enjoy breakfast or an evening platter while soaking up the view from your private balcony, overlooking the dam, orchard, and tennis court framed by the mountains beyond. Downstairs, a second spacious lounge invites relaxation, alongside two well-appointed bedrooms and a large bathroom.

Both levels are fully air-conditioned, ensuring year-round comfort, and each of our accommodations, including The Lakehouse, features its own private BBQ for alfresco dining. Guests are invited to make use of the picnic tables found in the orchard by the dam, beside the tennis court, and at the sunrise and sunset lookouts, each offering breathtaking vantage points across the High Country. The tennis court and walking track are complementary for guest use, creating the perfect balance between relaxation and recreation.

A Living Legacy

At Elevation652 Farm, we see ourselves not just owners, but as caretakers of this remarkable land atop of Mt Bellevue. Every vine planted, every fence built, and every animal is nurtured is part of a living legacy, one shaped by generations of local farmers and the enduring spirit of Victoria’s High Country. Our connection to this place is built on respect: for the soil, the history beneath it, and for the future we’re growing together. At 652 metres above sea level, our story is still being written, one sunrise, one harvest, and one guest at a time.
